Atlanta Theatre-To-Go Staff
Lois joined Atlanta Theatre-To-Go in November 2017 after spending 22 years in pro sports entertainment with the NBA Milwaukee Bucks where fan engagement and satisfaction were the number one priority. Lois was the founder/director and choreographer for the Milwaukee Bucks Energee! Dance Team and Seniorgee! - a senior dance team where the youngest member was 60 and the oldest...84 years of age! Lois directed and produced large halftime productions which included male and female professional dancers, live band, Bango - the award winning mascot, singers, children, adults and celebrities. Her teams traveled to China and Spain to bring NBA entertainment and experience to other countries. Lois was "the face" of dance entertainment which included public relations, marketing and fan relations. Her book, "Lady Of The Court" was published in 2014 and it gives insight on what happens behind the scenes of pro sports entertainment.
Lois has been involved in all aspects of professional theater and live performances as a producer, director, actor, singer and choreographer and has done voiceovers and industrials as well as emceed numerous events. She is a seasons speaker and has been interviewed on various networks and radio stations. Lois particularly enjoys directing faith-based plays.
As an entrepreneurial spirit, Lois lead successful companies such as Wellness Solutions Inc, a corporate wellness company which included Miller/Coors, Rockwell Automation, Harley-Davidson as well as small and medium sized corporations as clients and she also created "L EVATE" helping small businesses and non-profits organizations "elevate" their business success with creative marketing and customer satisfaction programs.
Lois graduated from Alverno College with a degree in Business & Management and Professional Communication.
David originally came to Atlanta Theatre-To-Go as an actor and began taking on further responsibilities with the company soon after, including stage management, directing, and eventually his talent led him to the position of Managing Artistic Director. David oversees the artistic direction of the company, keeping in mind both the theatrical elements of performance, but also making sure that the company stays true to its mission, which is to enrich the lives of senior adults. To do this David personally contacts and arranges each performance with Enrichment Directors or Activities Coordinators at senior residences and Community Engagement Coordinators at senior centers.
David is also a writer and professional actor in Atlanta. He has been fortunate enough to work in all three facets of entertainment including television, film and his first love, theater. His directing credits for Atlanta Theatre-To-Go include Alpharetta's Historical Street-Theatre Tour "Restless In Resthaven" and the 2018 production of "That's Life". His acting credits include the TV film "Downsized" a recurring role on BET's "The Quad", Atlanta Black Theatre Festival and the upcoming horror film, "The Good Things Devils Do".
David feels especially privileged to serve as a teaching artist for Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company overseeing the education of high school students for the August Wilson Monologue Competition. For the past two years David has produced and directed a reader's theatre version of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and received an invitation to perform this version at the Harriet Beecher Stowe museum in Maine.
David is proud to have been a semi-finalist in the 2018 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition and selected as a reader for the 2019 festival.
David's two spiritually inspired stage plays entitled "Someday Never Comes" and "Out of Many Waters" have been produced by the ministry he co-leads: "Dancing on the Promise International." David recently created the company "Story, Guidance & Inspiration, a production company dedicated to art that "informs and transforms."

Mari Ann began her involvement with Atlanta Theatre-To-Go as a donor and Joy Club member! She is the founder and executive director of The Writer's High LLC, which provides writing, editing and coaching servies to corporate clients and writers. One of her specialty areas is narrative nonfiction, especially memoir.
Mari Ann is our resident "Tell Me A Story" teaching artists. In her role as Interactive Theatre Director, she looks for teaching artists who have a passion for seniors as well as a strong background in their specialty. Mari Ann interacts with our clients in selecting the best interactive program for their seniors and makes all arrangements for the workshops or enrichiment classes.
Mari Ann's writing and events have been featured in BOOM magazine, Writers in the Storm blog, Deep South and others. She is currently working on a writing-related anthology. Jeannie is a seasoned business manager. Retired from UPS, Jeannie continued to be of service providing office and accounting work for her church in Gainesville, GA.
Jeannie keep Atlanta Theatre-To-Go on track doing all business activity for our theatre company. She recently organized the festivities for New York Playwright Robert Brophy on his visit to Atlanta to see his play, "Final Rendezvous" performed for the first time by our company.
In addition to her love of theatre, Jeannie enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mari Martinez is a teaching artist who primarily works with children in preschool through 5th grade. She coaches teachers across metro Atlanta in using arts integration strategies in their classrooms. Mari began her work in Educational Theatre with The Omaha Children's Company where she taught and performed in Theatre forYoung Audiences shows. Upon moving to New York City she spent time in the classroom as an Assistant Kindergarten Teacher and out of the classroom as a Teaching Artist with EnAct! Upon graduating from City College of New York with her Master of Science in Educational Theatre in 2015 she moved to Atlanta. Since then she has worked with DreamBox Theatre and as a Wolf Trap teaching artist with The Alliance Theatre where she develops theatre infused curriculum and lessons for classrooms, summer camp and after school programs.
Mari recently began a Memory Theatre program for senior citizens in Atlanta and performing with Atlanta's Theater-To-Go. She is excited to be living in Atlanta and able to live her passion of bringing theatre, creativity and new opportunities to the people of Atlanta.
Interactive Theatre Teaching Artist
Elisabeth is a seasoned actor, writer and musical composer. She joined Atlanta Theatre-To-Go as an actor and now serves the company by providing sound management, sound effects and pre-show music. Elisabeth was a production assistant for our annual show, "Restless In Resthaven" a historical street-theatre tour produced for the city of Alpharetta in 2018.

This past year her sci-fi play Alice was performed by the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company at Dragoncon.
